When Washington resident Susan Murphy (Reese Witherspoon) at the mysterious body
up, he presumed monster and arrested by the military. He was placed in the

them, General WR Monger (Kiefer Sutherland) recommend to the President (Stephen
Colbett) to the monster weapons to help them fight the alien
